Qi-Yo: The Answer After the Cleansing
When I discovered Kambo, it was a powerful breakthrough: layers of conditioning fell away, old patterns dissolved, and I felt reborn. But as often happens after an intense process, the question arose: what now?
For me, the answer was Qi-Yo.
Where Kambo emptied me out, Qi-Yo built me back up. It became my daily ritual—a lifeline that not only strengthened me physically but also reconnected me inwardly. My lower back, a source of chronic pain for years, improved by 80%. My posture shifted, my flexibility increased, and I felt more aligned—literally. Qi-Yo became my go-to warm-up before strength and cycling training, and my recovery ritual afterward to accelerate healing.
But Qi-Yo is much more than just physical exercise.
What is Qi-Yo Yoga?
Qi-Yo is a unique fusion of yoga, qigong, martial arts, and shamanic wisdom.
It’s not just a collection of techniques, but a living system that weaves together ancient traditions and modern insights. Originally developed by Agung Sangha, Qi-Yo offers a multidimensional approach to physical vitality, mental clarity, and embodied connection.
Core components of Qi-Yo:
Posture and Strength – advanced asanas and dynamic movements for structural alignment, stability, and physical power
Life Energy – Qigong flows and asanas to activate Qi and release energetic blockages

In Qi‑Yo, we work with principles found throughout nature: spirals, wave-like motions, and cycles of tension and release. When you understand and embody these principles, something magical happens — your body begins to move on its own, like a dance. Not directed from the outside, but felt from within. Your body leads the way.
Just like music: play a rhythm, and everyone dances in their own unique way — yet all are in sync with the same beat. Qi‑Yo is the same: your practice becomes your personal dance, carried by universal patterns. Not imitation, but creation.
Learning to Move Freely – From Your Essence
In a Qi‑Yo training, we don’t just teach you poses and movements — we teach you the principles behind them. You’ll discover a complete toolkit: an effective warm-up, kung fu exercises, qigong flows, breathwork techniques, and yoga asanas.
During the training, we work with a structured sequence developed by Agung. As you become more at home in the movements and start to feel the underlying principles, something deeper unfolds: your personal movement sequence begins to arise from within.
So that when life demands it — or your body calls for it — you can move, breathe, and center yourself, right in the moment. Free from dependence on a teacher, an app, or a routine.

From a small village in Bulgaria to a mobile learning environment (“Qi-Yo Multiversity on Wheels”), he traveled to power places and communities around the world to pass on Qi-Yo to those ready for deeper transformation.
Today, you can also experience Qi-Yo in the Netherlands through sessions and retreats in Orvelte (Drenthe) and other locations, guided by me, Johan.
